How do jet heaters work?
The burner fires directly in the air stream being heated rather than through a heat exchanger. This results in no wasted energy by these types of commercial heating units and 100% of available energy is delivered to the heated space because no flue or heat exchanger is required.

Can I use a torpedo heater in my house?
If you use it indoors, make sure to keep a door or window open and ventilate the room adequately. Avoid putting the heater near flammable objects and materials such as furniture, drapes or large amounts of dust. Never move a heater while in use, and always turn it off when you leave the room or go to sleep.7 ene 2022

Can you sleep with a kerosene heater on?

Never leave a burning heater unattended. Extinguish a heater if you are leaving or going to sleep. Only use quality 1-K kerosene fuel that has been properly stored. NEVER USE GASOLINE or any other combustible or low quality fuels.

Does a torpedo heater need to be vented?
Provide adequate ventilation

Adequate ventilation is necessary for safe operation of the kerosene heater. Burning kerosene consumes oxygen and produces carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide and other gases.
